Debra has over 30 years of real estate experience in various capacities. After assisting in a family-owned business and working with new construction, Debra ultimately became a listing and buyer’s agent in North Carolina and South Carolina. Debra believes that customer service and communication is an important key in successful transactions, not only with her clients, but across the aisle with other brokers and those that support the transaction process. Along with Debra's marketing and sales experience, her plentiful referral business is what sets her apart from other real estate agents in her field. 

Debra holds relocation certifications from various relocation partners and maintains her status as a high-quality specialist in the relocation field. Debra is also a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, a Certified Senior Real Estate Specialist, and is a graduate of Leadership North Carolina and Leadership Asheville. Debra has previous experience as a District Sales Manager for a wireless company, a Director of Admissions for a private college and has been an active community volunteer for several non-profit organizations. 

At her previous firm, Debra earned both the Chairman's Circle Gold award, ranking in the top 2% of firm agents nationwide, and the President's Circle award in 2021 and 2022, ranking in the top 6% of firm agents nationwide.  

Debra enjoys spending time with her four daughters, their families, and her grand-twins. As a certified Master Gardener, Debra enjoys outdoor activities and living a healthy lifestyle, she also enjoys spending as much time at the Lake as possible. Debra is also a published children's author and is always looking for ways to make time for writing.
